Saanich wrestling westbound for Langford

The Langford Legion hosts Vancouver Island Pro Wrestling tonight at 8 p.m. (May 29)

The Langford Legion welcomes Vancouver Island Pro Wrestling for a Friday night show this week (May 29).

The feature match sees reigning Vancouver Island champion B.J. Laredo take on Flexxx Payne in the latter’s VIPW debut.

Saanich wrestler Lak Siddartha will take on Bishop, who hails from the mainland.

Other Island-mainland matchups (Island wrestler listed first) include the Krofton Kid versus Tony Baroni, Riea vs. Vixxxen and Cremator vs. Shredz. Islanders Scott Steel and Eddie Osborne are also on the card.

Velox Rugby Club’s lease termination at 3957 Gordon Head Rd. in Saanich prompted VIPW to shift its venue to Langford, Siddartha said.

Matches get underway at 8 p.m. at 761 Station Ave.
