Shamrocks look to turn series around at home on Friday

Victoria Shamrocks lose 13-7 to Coquitlam Adanacs, trail semifinal best-of-seven series 2-0

The Victoria Shamrocks are in a dangerous spot, down two games to none in the Western Lacrosse Association best-of-seven semifinal series against the Coquitlam Adanacs.

The Ads won 13-7 in Coquitlam on Wednesday, and look to put the Shamrocks down 3-0 with a win in Game 3 on Friday.

Face-off is 7:45 p.m. at Bear Mountain Arena.

Jeff Shattler scored a hat trick on Wednesday and now has five goals, most for the Shamrocks in the playoffs.

Coquitlams’ Dane Dobbie leads his team with seven goals and 11 points.

It was the Shamrocks’ fourth consecutive loss to the Adanacs, including the last two matches of the regular season.

The Langley Thunder are up 3-0 over the Burnaby Lakers in the other semifinal.
