UVic Vikes are home for Thanksgiving weekend to play soccer, basketball, field hockey, and ice hockey

Last Friday the UVic Vikes women’s rugby team had a statement game as Madeleine Graham scored four tries and Jess Neilson added three converts and two penalty goals in a  42-17 win over the University of Alberta Pandas at Wallace Field.Amanda Smith, Amee Svatos and rookie Emily Bielech had tries for Alberta, who came in victorious in their only game of the season against Lethbridge. The Vikes are now 2-1 on the season while the Pandas move to 1-1.

The Vikes play their next Canada West rugby game against the Lethbridge Pronghorns at Wallace Field on Oct. 16.
