The Seattle Seahawks' 12th man flag flies high above B.C.'s legislature in Victoria

VIDEO: Victoria raised Seattle Seahawks ’12th Man’ flag above B.C. capital

The Seahawks will look to defend their only NFL championship against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49 on Sunday.

The Seattle Seahawks are headed to their second straight Super Bowl – and all of British Columbia is behind the Pacific Northwest’s only NFL team.

The team’s 12th Man flag was raised high above Victoria’s legislature on Thursday. “We are known as 12 North,” said city councillor Chris Coleman, three days ahead of the big game.

The Seahawks will look to defend their only NFL championship on Sunday against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

“I’m hoping that it’s gonna be the Hawks by 10, because I think (their) fairly dominant defence will show up in a fairly dominant way,” said Coleman.
