Wrestling team open to recruits

Training will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights at Cedar Hill middle school

  • Sep. 27, 2016 12:00 p.m.

The school district’s Victoria Bulldogs wrestling team is starting its season this week.

Because few schools have wrestling teams, the program is district wide and open to any wrestlers from the school district.

Training nights are Tuesday and Thursday in the Cedar Hill middle school gymnasium at 6:30 p.m.

All levels are welcome for students aged eight to 19 years old.

The program is led by Ed Ashmore, longtime Victoria and Saanich wrestling coach and member of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.

For more information call coach Ed Ashmore at 250-384-9459 or by email vicbulldogs@gmail.com.
