Grab your partner and try out this fun and social form of dance

The Van Isle Scottish Country Dancers are hosting a free open house, Tuesday (Sept.) 6 at the Dance Victoria Studios 2750 Quadra St. from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Enjoy a lively evening of Scottish fiddle music and learn some jigs, reels and strathspeys. Dress is casual – flat soft-soled shoes are suggested. No partner required.

The club is also offering free classes on Tuesday nights, Sept. 13, 20 and 27 at the Eastern Star Lodge, 3281 Harriet Rd. Call 598-0207 to register for either event or visit www.viscds.ca to learn more.
