Find a surprise display of ReFind Art on show and sale in the lower level of The Bay Centre next week.

The art auction features the artworks of 31 local artists and businesses donating time and talent in support of Habitat Victoria’s Build Program.

Each ReFind Art participant is challenged to create a piece of art using materials found at the Habitat Victoria ReStores, transforming used and discarded household items and building materials into beautiful works of art or upcycled furniture.

Visitors can bid to one or more of these one-of-a-kind art creations through a silent sealed bidding process. The public may also donate-to-vote for their favourite art pieces and the winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced online at the end of the event. All artworks will be available for online viewing and bidding at habitatvictoria.com starting May 29.

Funds raised help build homes for local families living in need of a safe and decent place to call home.

ReFind Art is presented by RE/MAX in partnership with The Bay Centre and Used.ca from Tuesday, May 29 to Sunday, June 10 at The Bay Centre, 1150 Douglas St.
