Twenty-four teams are signed up for the 21st annual Michael Dunahee slowpitch Tournament of Hope, set for the Aug. 11-12 weekend at Topaz Park.
The annual event is the biggest fundraiser of the summer for Child Find B.C., said president Crystal Dunahee.
The tournament once again provides free child care for players, with child-care professionals on site.
Among the highlights of the weekend is the annual kids game at 1 p.m. on the Sunday. Later that day, at 4 p.m., skydivers will descend with the game ball before the tournament championship game.
