Residents of Saanich near Heals Range (Willis Point Road and Wallace Drive) can expect the clang and bang of large guns as evening and night firing exercises will be carried out at Heals Range on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 4 and 5, from 4 p.m. to midnight.
The Department of National Defence and the Royal Canadian Navy remind the public that unauthorized civilians should stay clear of the area. Do not pick up or retain stray ammunition and explosive objects. If encountered, notify local police immediately to make arrangements for disposal.
