The annual Operation Trackshoes event is seeking volunteers to help the athletes on the weekend of June 10 to 12 at the University of Victoria’s Centennial Stadium.
Athletes are on the waiting list and need more counsellors in order to let them in. Without volunteers the athletes will be shut out.
Complicating matters is that volunteers need to complete a criminal record check which takes seven to 14 days to complete online.
