Ron Talks tackles financial crises, autistic living

RON Talks is the first Wednesday of every month, 7 to 9 p.m. at Crumsby’s Cafe, 4525 West Saanich Rd.

Associate professor Paul Schure from the University of Victoria’s Department of Economics will talk, and take questions, about financial crises and economic crises at this month’s Royal Oak Neighbourhood (RON) Talks event on Wednesday.

Schure has worked in financial intermediation, industrial organization and European integration. His work has appeared in various international economics and finance journals.

View Royal resident Iris Gray, a freelance editor, will present on adults living with autism.

Gray was diagnosed with autism in her 30s and organizes a peer-support group for autistic adults.
