Nobody knows the ins and outs, the comings and goings of a neighbourhood more than the folks who live there.
Block Watch is designed to ensure the community is safe, thanks to volunteer neighbours who watch over the streets.
The Mount Tolmie Community Association is hosting a joint meeting for all area Block Watch groups Saturday (May 26). If your area doesn’t currently have Block Watch, you’re encouraged to attend to find out more information.
The meeting takes place at St. Aidan’s Church (3703 St. Aidan’s St.) from 10 a.m. to noon. To confirm attendance, email lesleyrae@shaw.ca with your name, and street name or Block Watch number.
