Saanich summer camps need volunteers

Art, cooking, dance and floor hockey camps still need volunteer help for summer season

Saanich is in need of dozens of volunteers for its youth summer camp programs.

Volunteers generally need to be 16 years of age and experience is helpful for many of the activities, such as skateboarding or swimming, as many of the day camps include a pool visit, though experience is not always necessary.

Commitments are usually one week at a time, throughout the summer, depending on the camp.

Art, cooking, dance and floor hockey camps are still in need of assistants, among others.

To view a list of summer camps that still need volunteers, visit the comprehensive schedule and camp descriptions at Saanich Recreation Volunteer Services website.
