‘Bliss’ is coming to Victoria as 1st cruise ship set to dock for the 2024 season

The first cruise ship of 2024 will dock at the Breakwater District at Ogden Point on April 3.

The Norwegian Bliss, with a total capacity of 4,004 people, will arrive between 12:30 and 1 p.m. and be welcomed by traditional Lekwungen dancers.

The First Nations ceremony will start at 12:45 p.m. and will take place in the secured area of Pier B.

The ship is leaving San Francisco on April 1 and will spend one day at sea before arriving in Victoria.

The Bliss was built in 2018 and refurbished in 2021. It is 333 metres long and crewed by over 176 people.

The cruise will then move onto Vancouver and finish on April 5.
