A Shaw Cable employee's vest, hat, clipboard and business cards were stolen from a vehicle earlier this month. Now Saanich police are concerned about the potential for the items to be used to impersonate an employee of the utility company.
"If you have concerns about someone (identifying) themselves as an employee, or see someone that concerns you or arouses your suspicions, contact Shaw and ensure this employee is legitimate," Sgt. Dean Jantzen said.
The items were taken from a van parked on Heath Drive sometime between Jan. 14 and 17.
