The last push is on to collect as many surveys as possible from citizens looking to offer input on Saanich’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
All Saanich residents are invited to take part until the Feb. 15 deadline. For those households that did not receive the survey, it’s also available online at www.saanich.ca.
The master plan will provide guidance for Saanich’s Official Community Plan, used to to design policy, services, programs, facilities and partnerships for the next five to seven years.
“It is really important that we get ideas from the public about what will make our parks and recreation services work better for them,” Mayor Frank Leonard said. “Over the next decade we will see incredible changes in Saanich and we must be ready with the right services and programs in the right places.”
