Saanich-based Don Mann Excavating was awarded the contract to install a massive high-pressure pipe and drain from the Rithet Reservoir.
Don Mann’s $577,124 bid came in below those of G & E Contracting ($684,200), Northridge Excaving ($932,189) and Ralmax Contracting ($770,973).
The project will install a pressurized pipe from the Rithet Reservoir to Lochside Drive. An open-cut method of construction shall be used for the installation of the new pipe, mainly along Saanich right-of-way.
