Saanich police release video of Carey Road jewelry store robbery

Suspects in Aug. 14 robbery still a mystery, say Saanich police

Saanich Police detectives are asking the public to help identify two people who committed a brazen daytime robbery of a jewelry store last summer.

On Aug. 14, the suspects entered the store in the 4200-block of Carey Rd. around 4 p.m. and proceeded to smash a glass display case before stealing several pieces of jewelry. The pair then ran down Carey Road in the direction of Wilkinson Road.

Anyone with relevant information is asked to call Saanich police at 250-475-4321 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
