Environmental activists unfurl a banner reading “Stop Killing Wildlife” on the Galloping Goose Trail above Highway 1 during rush hour on Monday.
It protested the recent culling of 484 geese in Parksville. The demonstration was hosted by members of the Animal Alliance Environment Voters, who argue that there is no need for the use of lethal methods of geese mitigation.
