Weather conditions have resulted in the cancellation of the BCLA Feild Lacrosse Championships scheduled for this weekend at the University of Victoria.

“The Pac Rim Field lacrosse Association would like to announce that the BCLA Feild Lacrosse Championships scheduled for this weekend at UVic has been cancelled due to the inclement weather and unsuitability of the fields at UVic,” said Mike Morgan, Pac Rim Field Lacrosse Association executive at large.

“It is a big dissappointment to our players, Team personnel and executive as well as the provincial lacrosse community but was out of anyones control.”

Forty-eight of the best field lacrosse teams in B.C. were set to be in Saanich for the 2017 Youth Field Lacrosse Provincial Championships, Feb. 10 to 13.
