Victoria police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Daniel Rice, who answers to the name ‘Danny’, was reported missing late Tuesday night.

He was last seen earlier that day at Esquimalt Road and Head Street, heading towards Victoria. Police say Daniel’s family are concerned for his welfare due to medical concerns and his limited speech.

Rice is described as:

  • Aboriginal male
  • Heavy build
  • Stands 5’2
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Full beard

He was last scene wearing an orange hoody and may possibly have a shopping cart with him, as he’s known to collect bottles.

If you see him, you’re asked to call 911. Anyone with information is asked to call 250-995-7654.
