Suddenly and sadly, Carl passed away in a car
accident on Old West Saanich Road on March 21, along with his loving dog Turbo. Carl is
predeceased by his Mother Diane, Father Edward (Ted) and his brother Andrew (Andy). Carl was an avid Canucks, Blue Jays and car racing fan. Carl had an
unusual memory for sports statistics and birth dates.
He could be found many times a day walking his dog Turbo in the Marigold area while socializing with his neighbours. Carl had a heart of gold and his door was always open to those who needed a safe haven, a Lucky, coffee or a meal. Carl will be dearly missed by his many good friends.
In honour of Carl’s life, his many friends will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 9, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Downtown Community Centre,
755 Pandora.
