This is a response to Mr. Duffell’s freedom of speech (Letter “Cartoon unfair to North Korean leader” in the July 28 Saanich News).
I believe the expression is: Love the people, hate the bureaucracy.
Three things popped into my noggin. The world according to Trump has yet to surpass actual reality. If Dear Leader Kim Jong-un manages to fire a functioning ICBM into the United States of America, it might miss and hit Canada instead. If any of this happens, none of us will be thinking ‘smart cookie’ as an intellect description, the intellect of the U.S. president notwithstanding.
Your political cartoon is priceless. I’m still laughing about the comparison to Donald Duck.
