Congratulations to the District of Saanich. Why, you may well ask. Because of the residential yard waste disposal facility.
On the very infrequent occasions that I have been called upon (by she who must be obeyed) to visit this facility, I have never been disappointed. It, and all who work there are ready to receive.
The bins, the bins – how many bins did they calculate might be needed on that particular day of my visit?
Am I arriving on the peak, or the lull of the flow of pickup trucks, station-wagons, and trailers that visit?
And, would you believe, there is a webcam to show how long might be the flow of vehicles arriving at the place. How cool is that? Move over Pokemon.
Lastly, there is no C, as in CRD. As long as you are a bona fide Saanich resident (they have ways of determining this), there is no charge for this excellent service.
