The TPP gives far too much power to corporations over citizens’ rights (municipally, provincially and federally) by allowing secret tribunals to decide on secret compensation when corporate profits are being endangered. Allowing corporate interests to trump environmental legislation alone is despicable.
Let’s see the consultation promised by Trudeau et al. Let’s have a good look at each and every line in this deal. And let’s do it all in public.
If this deal is so good for everyone, why is so much of it secret?
