The Victoria Red Eagles won both games of their opening day double-header against the North Island Blizzard, 11-1 and 26-4 at Carnarvon Park on Sunday.
The Red Eagles, one of the Greater Victoria Baseball Association's two Bantam AAA teams, resume league play April 22 with a doubleheader in Cloverdale.
The Bantam AAA Black Eagles are in action next Sunday in Cowichan.
