The Victoria City Rowing Club on Elk Lake is hosting the Challenge West/B.C. Championships starting today (July 10) through Sunday.
Challenge West was created as an athlete-centred regatta providing junior, senior and masters athletes with quality racing.
The regatta features junior and senior 1,850 metres, masters and adaptive 1,000m, family 500m, time trials 1,750m, and an open 8+ of 1,850m. Racing runs Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
