The tastiest time for foodies to visit Greater Victoria returns later this month with Dine Around and Stay in Town, Jan. 20 to Feb. 6.

“This festival has become the premier culinary program in Greater Victoria,” says Peter de Bruyn, chair of the Victoria chapter of the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association. “It highlights our talented chefs and restaurateurs, as well as attracting countless customers to their favourite restaurants.”

The ever-growing list features 10 hotels and more than 40 restaurants in Greater Victoria. The eateries offer menus at $20, $30, $40, $50 or $60 price points, with hotels posting room rates at $129, $149, $169, $189, and $249.

Paul Nursey, CEO of Destination Greater Victoria, says the local culinary scene is world-class.

“Greater Victoria’s restaurants create outstanding options from a variety of traditions. There is not only a high quality to our food and drink offerings, but Victoria has more restaurants per capita than any other city in Canada. The choice is tremendous for locals as well as those visiting our community.”
